When I finish school, I would like to become an entrepreneur so that I can have my own business and help people get good jobs. Background

Rose-Angie came to our Grace Orphanage in 2006 when her family was unable to care for her and to send her to school. Father is unknown. She has two brothers and two sisters. Rose-Angie is blessed with a great voice and she loves to sing. She is a great leader and loves to lead us in worship during our prayer time. She is also gifted at picking up an instrument and playing it. She is an amazing young lady who loves the Lord and her sisters and brothers.

REMARKS: Djenecie and her sister were brought to Grace Girl’s Home by their uncle, Castor Luzama. Their mother is severly mentally ill and father is unknown. Their Grandmother had been caring for them but now is quite ill and unable to do this. Uncle is married with a family, has no work and is unable to care for his two nieces. The two sisters were accepted in our Grace Girl’s Home September 2017.

I was born on October, 1st, 2002 in I came to the Grace international orphanage when I was 7 years old because my father died and my mother could not take care of me. I have brothers and sister but I don’t know how many I have. When I finish school I would like to attend university to become a nurse. Because I like to take care of sick people. I want to work at a hospital in Delmas, Haiti in. I am glad to have madam and bishop because they give me the opportunity to go to school, eat and go to church. I have the opportunity to attend the church while being with the girls. When I finish university, I wish help in medical care to the children of the girl's house.

Background

Father and Mother are both deceased. Tachenie was brought to the Grace Ophanage when she was four years old, and she has flourished. Tachenie loves to read fun stories like “a mouse who oiled him self to get out of a bottle”, she loves to sing God’s promises and is a soft spoken gentle spirit.

I was born on May 10th, 2009 I came to the girls home when I was 2 ½ years old because my mother died in the earthquake in 2010. My father and aunt could not take care of me anymore. I have one sister here Kenya and cousins that lives here too. I am currently in 2nd Grade, the school I attend is Nouveau College De Formation Chrétienne Haiti. I like to sing at school because I like my teacher and the class. I want to become a Doctor when I grow up because I love school.I love living here I like when I get to wear a nice dress and I always get a new nice dress. 8 year old Adassa along with her sister Kenia and brother Kenly brought to Grace Home by their Aunt. Their parents died during the earthquake and were buried in mass graves, as their bodies were never found. Their Aunt who has polio, took them and was caring for them, due to her polio ,she is unable to take care of them. Adassa and her sister Kenia are at the girls home and their brother Kenly is at the boys home in Waney.

Mother is a young lady who either could not or would not take care of Christina. She was born out of wedlock and father is a married man who did not want anything to do with the child. She was left in a Church, and when found, she was so tiny they could not believe she was 3 1/2 years old. She has now sprouted like a flower and looks her age. She goes to a special needs school and she is a happy young lady at Grace Girls Home. Kenly is at the boys home in Waney.

Chrisla Pierre came to Grace Home from Bon Samaritan Orphanage in October of 2013, when the woman who ran the orphanage died. Chistla has a brother who’s still at Bon Samaritan, whom she’s able to visit fairly often, when Sister Doris goes. She has flourished since coming to Grace Girls Home. She is doing well in school. She specially likes to study Math. She has many friend here and is a personable and happy young lady.

Mother very sick and Father severely burned and unable to work. Defne and her sister Rosemène were referred to the Grace Home by the Social Work Office in Port-au-Prince. She plays well with the other young girls.

I was born on August, 28th, 2005 in Thiotte, Haiti. I came to the girls home when I was 9 years old because my mother and father could not financially take care of me. I have 5 sisters and 4 brothers. I am happy being here because I have my sister christla with me. I am currently in 6th grade the school I attend is Nouveau College De Formation Chrétienne Haiti. I love Math and French in school because I like numbers and I would like to speak French someday. I want to become a Pediatrician when I finish school. I have the opportunity to attend lamentin church at the girl’s home. I love everything about church I love to hear the preacher speak and I love to pray. Dina came in October, 2013 from the Bon Samaritan Orphanage when the woman who ran the Orphanage died. It took awhile to obtain her birth certificate. When we got we found that her middle name was not PAUL. Dina is doing well in school. She plays nice with the other at the Girls Home and enjoys singing. Chistina Pierre, is her cousin. She has three sisters still at Bon Samaritan Orphanage, and she goes with someone to visit them often.

Background

Djounie was brought to the grace Girls Home by her father, who could no longer take care of her and her Brother, John Peter Desir. Djounie’s Mother died in March, 2011, after the earthquake. Djounie has adjusted to life at Girls Home and had a “best friend”. She enjoys playing and jumping rope with the other young.

My mother is very sick with eyes Problem, who is almost blind and my Father unable to taking a good care of me, after he lost all his garden after the Hurricane Matthew, him and the my mother with their church Committees, are agree to send me and my two sisters to Grace Orphanage. I am currently in Kindergarten, the school I attend is Nouveau College De Formation Chrétienne Haiti I love everything about school. When I finish school I want to become a Teacher. So I can teach Children. I am so grateful and happy that I get the opportunity to be here and have a better life. I love living her because I get a chance to have a good life.

Fedna is four (4), she is the smallest of her Siblings, she has three (3) brothers and three (3) sisters. Remarks: Jennifer’s mother died leaving five (5) children, which her father was unable to provide for. He placed one of the five siblings, Jennifer, who at 18 months old was suffering from malnutrition, asthma and anemia, in the care of his friend, Alourde Jouissance. When Mme Jouissance became too ill to care for Jennifer, she was brought to Grace International’s Girls Home Jennifer received medical care at Grace and now she is happy and doing very well.
