I was born in ST. Louis Du Sud, Haiti on July, 25th, 1998. I was 9 years old when I came to the Boys home because my mother and father died. My aunt took care of me and my brother Woodson for a while. When she was no longer able to take care of my brother and I we came to the Grace boy’s home. When I am finished with school I would like to become a Dentist, to take care of people teeth and show them how to take care of heir teeth. I am happy to be in school because it gives me an education. And it will give me a better life. When I finish school I would like to attend the university and achieve my dream of becoming a Doctor. I’m very happy to be living here at the boy’s home and to have the opportunity to attend school, So that I can have a better life.

Background

Mike and his brother Woosen were brought to the Grace Boy’s Orphanage in December of 2007, after their mother and father died, and their Aunt was unable to care for them. Mike loves school, especially studying French and playing football. Mike loves the Lord and he is thriving at Grace Boys Home.

I was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on February 20th, 2002. I was 6 years old when I came to grace to live at the boys home. I came to the Boys home because my Parents died. After the earthquake My aunt was taking care of me and my two sisters and I until she could no longer take care of us anymore. When I finish school I would like to study electricity building. Becoming a electrician will help my life because I will be the provider for my family and become married someday. I have the opportunity to attend Waney Church here at the boy’s home. I enjoy building my relationship with God. I feel very blessed to be living at the boy’s home because I have a mother and father that will always love me. Also Living here will help me achieve all of my dreams.

Background

Mother, Jeanette Joseph, died in 2005, one month after giving birth to his sister Lynn Sarah. Father was unable to care for May Kensley and his two siblings, Lynn Sarah and Rolph-Lie, they were brought to the Grace International Home by their Aunt Adeline Joseph.

I was born in Cabaret, Haiti on December,8th, 2000. I came to the boys home in October 2007 by my cousin. Both my father and mother were deceased. I have one brother and one sister. When I finish school I would like to study medicine. To be a good Doctor for people who don’t have good health. I would like to be a blessing to people in Haiti who don’t have any money and be able to take care of their health care. I have the opportunity to attend Waney Church being at the boy’s home. Junior Balan was brought to the Grace Boy’s Home in October 2007 by his cousin Meritha Balan. his father and mother are deceased. He has one sister and two brothers. He is a kind young man and loves to study.

Father’s name is Dominique Séjour Alix, he was unable to care for Joseph and his brother Emmanuel. They were brought to Grace Boy’s Home in December 2007. His mother is dead, he has two sisters also.

My father was very sick, crippled, and unable to work. My grandmother brought me and my brother Thony to live at the Boy’s home. When I finish school I would like to become a doctor because, I want to take care of people in Carrefour. So that I can help the people who are sick and help make them better. I have the opportunity to attend Waney Church at the boys home I feel very blessed that I get the opportunity to build my relationship with God. I feel blessed living in the boys home because it gives me the opportunity to achieve all my dreams.

I was born in St. Jean du Sud, Haiti on September, 27th, 2003. I came to the boy’s home because my father could no longer take care of me. My mother died. When I finish school I would like to become a dentist so that I can help heal people who are sick. And having their teeth cleaned or to help people who have bad teeth. Becoming a doctor will help my life because it will help me build my own business someday and so that I can be the provider for my family and help my friends financially. I feel very blessed to live here at the Boys home because it gives me the opportunity to achieve all of my dreams. I do get sad because I miss my family but, I am very thankful for the family I have here at with madam and bishop.

Father is unable to take care of Emmanuel and his brother Joseph Gedor. Their Mother is dead. Emmanuel has also two Sisters. Their father brought his two sons to Grace Boys Home. Emmanuel states that he likes math and football. He also enjoys learning languages and reading adventure stories.

Charlus came to the Grace Boy’s Home in 2001 after his mother, died with a high fever. His father was unable to care for him and his siblings. He has five sisters. one of his sister Charline is at Grace Girl’s Home. Charlus is friendly and play football.

I was born in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti on October, 7th, 2002. I was 12 years old when I came to Grace to live at the Boy’s home because, I was living at the Good Samaritan Orphanage in Croix des Bouquets when the woman who ran the orphanage died, leaving over 100 children in the home with no help. When I finish school I would like to sturdy plumbing. I know I need to be better at school if I want to achieve this dream of mine. Becoming a Plumber will make my life better because I will be making money and become my own provider. To be the provider of my family and my friends those are in need. I have the opportunity to attend Waney church at the boy’s home. I like to sing and listen to the preacher. I feel very blessed to be living at the boy’s home because it helps me achieve my dreams of becoming a doctor.

Background

Angladson Jean Baptiste came to the Grace Orphanage from Bon Samaritan Orphanage in Croix des Bouquets when the women who ran the Orphanage died. More then 100 of children in the Home with no help. After the situation quickly became very critical, Bishop Jeune and Sister Doris were asked to help. Anglason is attending school and doing well.
